Introduction
Welcome to Housebound Hounds! We are a locally-owned pet care service based in Omaha, offering in-home pet sitting, dog walking, play and potty breaks, and more. By using our services and mobile app, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, mobile app, or utilizing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.
Services
We offer a variety of pet care services including but not limited to:
- In-home pet sitting
- Dog walking
- Play and potty breaks
Vet Release Form
By using our services, you authorize Housebound Hounds to seek medical treatment for your pet in case of an emergency. You agree to be responsible for any costs incurred during such treatment.
Key Handling
We maintain strict procedures for managing your keys. By using our services, you authorize us to manage your keys in accordance with our key handling policy.
Payment and Fees
Payment for our services is due upon completion of each service. We require a credit card on file at all times.
Cancellation Policy
Pet sits, overnights, cat visits are as follows:
- 48 hours or less notice = 100% charge
- 3-6 days or less notice = 50% charge
- 7 or more days notice = 25% charge
- Holidays (regardless of notice) = 100% charge
Daily dog walks or Quick potty breaks are as follows:
- Cancellations made after 7pm the night prior to scheduled services = 100% charge
- Holidays (regardless of notice) = 100% charge
For visit requests that we are able to accommodate for the following day or same day, there will be a $10 Scheduling Expedite fee applied to each visit.
Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our website, mobile app, or services. By using Housebound Hounds, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may use Housebound Hounds only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Liability
Housebound Hounds is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur while providing our services, except as required by law.
Applicable Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska.
Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website and mobile app.
