Service Agreement
Before starting services with us you will need to read through and "sign" our online service contract. You agree to our contract by clicking a box stating you have read and understand our policies. No more messy paperwork, thank you technology! Our service contract lays out important details regarding our role in caring for your pet(s), emergency backup care liability, etc. By agreeing to our service agreement you also "sign" a vet release allowing us to make decisions on your behalf in case a medical emergency were to come up while your pet is in our care. You also agree to us to post pictures of your pets on our website and social media sites (no personal information will ever be published).
Our Software
Time To Pet is our online scheduling software that we use to keep in touch with you, look up information about your dog, home and contact information. If you need to schedule a visit, cancel a visit or change the time of a visit it must be done in Time To Pet (please no emails, texts or calls). We want to make sure your pets are receiving the best care possible. If something should change regarding your pet's care, new alarm code, your dog is on a new medication or ANYTHING we need to be made aware of please update this information in Time To Pet in your client portal.
New Client Meetings
A FREE consultation is required before we can assist you with your babies. Of course you will want to meet the dog walkers caring for your fur kids and we want to feel comfortable as well. During these meetings we will go over pet care, home information, cancellation policy & much more. The first consultation is always complimentary, if you require more than one meeting with us then you will be charged $24 for any subsequent meetings.
Guarantee & Payment
We Require 2 Potty Breaks Per Week To Be Guaranteed A Spot On Our Schedule. For your convenience we offer automatic billing & accept all major credit cards. Cards will be charged on the 15th & the last day of each month for dog walking. You may review all your invoices in Time To Pet in your client portal.
Holiday Charge
If your visit or part of your visit is scheduled to occur on one of the Holidays listed below, there is an additional PER VISIT charge of $25 added to your invoice or $75 if the visit is overnight. Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, Easter, July 4th, Labor Day, Memorial Day, New Years Day, New Years Eve, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and Thanksgiving.
Scheduling Deposit
All of our Pet Sitting services, Cozy Cat Visit, and Overnights require a 25% non refundable deposit to reserve dates on the pet services calendar.
Cancellations
We require cancellations to occur by 7pm the day before any scheduled visits, or a 50% cancellation fee will apply. If cancelling a visit/service after 8am day of scheduled visit, you will be charged for the appointment in full. Pet sits canceled or moved for any reason will be subject to a non-refundable pet sit deposit charge. Overnight pet sits canceled with fewer than 48 hours notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Job Sharing
Housebound Hounds will not co share overnight and pet sitting services with neighbors, family members or friends. Our insurance company has strict policies against this for liability reasons.
